AJ's Dad, Art Perfetti Opened Morristown's First
Professional Window Tinting Shop in 1985. In 1986 AJ began
working with his dad and learning the trade.
The business was developed as a Professional Window
Tinting Service, no mechanics, no stereo's, no add-ons, just
a sterile atmosphere for clean window tinting. This was in
the days when one piece back windows were a rare item. But
Art and son managed to stretch film the old fashion way and
accomplished what was then un-heard of. One piece
Volkswagens, Camaro's, Firebirds, Grand-Am's and more.
Art Sr. was also a professional Pin striper contracted to
the Harley Owners Group, of the Harley Davidson Motorcycle
Co. so as Art traveled during the season Art Jr. controlled
the Shop.
After many successful years in the business we decided to
take a break... and sold the business to a local tinter. AJ
went on his own to discover the trials and tribulations of
the business world. He opened, established and managed
Window Tinting Services for a number of stereo shops in the
area. During this time he mastered the technology of
stretching and molding film. One piece back windows became
second nature to him.
It was inevitable that AJ would once again open his own
shop. His reputation in East Tennessee was continuously
growing. Individuals along with car clubs followed him from
business to business for his professional window tinting
techniques.

AJ felt it was time once again for a Professional Window
Tinting Company in East Tennessee.

"The Tint Shack"
is now open!
No Stereo's, No Mechanics, just a purely professional
tinting service serving the automotive, residential and
commercial markets. Specializing in automotive
custom tinting, graphics in multiple colors for that
favorite Show Car.
The Tint Shack offers a quaint waiting area for our clients
in our office. The Shop is in a
seperate building in order to control traffic in and out of
the shop...Why? You may ask...
It is a well known fact that professional window tinting
requires a clean work area, dust control is equally
important. It is extremely difficult to have a clean
installation of window film when others are running through
the shop installing stereo systems, working on engines, or
installing ground effects.
For this reason AJ decide the best shop is a dedicated
window tinting shop with controlled atmosphere. Wall mounted
flat installation and cutting tables along with all the
necessary precautions taken for a professional installation.
